2. General information on data processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website, respond to enquiries, send our newsletter, or operate the analytics, advertising and media services described below. Technologies requiring consent are activated only after you have made the corresponding selection in the consent banner.

The relevant legal bases include Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where you have given consent, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual measures, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR for legal obligations and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interests. 3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by GoDaddy. When you access the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, the requested page or file, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system.

Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and technically reliable provision of our website and in preventing misuse and attacks. 4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide, in particular your email address, the content of your message and, where applicable, your name or other contact details, in order to respond to your enquiry.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in properly handling and documenting incoming enquiries.

5. Newsletter with Klaviyo

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address in order to send you information about House of Jay, new releases, artists, events and other news. We use Klaviyo to send and manage the newsletter.

Registration generally uses a double opt-in process. The time of registration and confirmation, your IP address and other technical evidence may be stored in order to document consent and prevent misuse.

The legal basis for sending the newsletter is your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by emailing Show email address.

Where opens or link clicks are measured, this is done only on the basis of the consent required for that purpose. Klaviyo may process data in the United States. Such transfers are protected by the applicable safeguards under Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, in particular certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Cookiebot Consent Management Platform

We use Cookiebot CMP by Usercentrics to obtain, document and communicate your choices regarding cookies and similar technologies. This may involve processing your consent ID, the time and scope of your selection, technical browser and device information and your IP address. The CookieConsent cookie stores the consent status you have selected.

7. Google Tag Manager and Google Consent Mode

We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags centrally. Tag Manager is used to technically control the services described in this Privacy Policy. Tags requiring consent are activated by Cookiebot and Google Consent Mode in accordance with your selection.

A YouTube video is embedded on the artist page. The player is loaded only after you have consented to the “Marketing” category.
